(The following notices are provided for the benefit of Thai and English readers of events taking place in Korat, including government-sponsored seminars, labor funcitons, etc).

Today the Korat Post begins the first series of placing notices on its website. These notices come from a variety of sources, and may or may not be of interest to readers. For example, the following notice from the Department of Employment may not bear directly on your business or functions, but you may be interested in the information provided and wish to contact the agency conducting the event, etc. We look forward to any comments you may have.

The Employment Department, Nakhonratchasima Branch, disclosed the following during the 25 April 2002 press conference at City Hall:

The Department of Employment will hold its annual Meet Labor event from 10:30-17:00 at The Mall, Nakhonratchasima. During this event, the Department of Foreign Affairs will also provide passport application services for workers planning to travel abroad from 10:30-14:00 hrs.
