Local Media in Nakhonratchasima
Public Relations Department
Provincial Hall, Nakhonratchasima 30000
Tel. 044-251818
The Public Relations Department is supposed to have oversight on all media, but as in the case of Watpa Salawan-related slander and racist hate speech, avoided the issue and sat back to allow developments to undermine human rights. Like most Thai government agencies, the Public Relations Department has not shown much enthusiasm toward the need to protect human and civil rights before they are violated. Even then, they prefer to step aside and let the injured party take care of the violations in the courts. This is a word to the wise: be careful while in Thailand.
